iPRF Microneedling in Alderley Edge, Cheshire

iPRF microneedling combines two of the most effective skin regeneration treatments available. The microneedling device creates controlled micro-channels in the skin, and concentrated iPRF from your own blood is applied simultaneously, driving growth factors deep into the tissue to amplify the collagen response beyond what either treatment achieves alone.

How iPRF Microneedling Works

The treatment begins with a blood draw, which is processed in a centrifuge to produce concentrated iPRF serum. We apply topical numbing cream to the face and then use a medical-grade microneedling device to create precise micro-channels across the skin.

The iPRF serum is applied during and after the needling process. The micro-channels allow the growth factors to penetrate deeply into the dermis, where they activate fibroblasts and trigger an accelerated collagen and elastin production response. The result goes significantly beyond standard microneedling.

What iPRF Microneedling Can Treat

iPRF microneedling is particularly effective for acne scarring and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, fine lines and skin laxity, enlarged pores and uneven texture, dull or depleted skin that lacks radiance, and early sun damage.

Because the treatment works at a cellular level, it addresses the root cause of the skin concern rather than masking it. Most clients need three to six sessions for their initial course, depending on the severity of the concern and the result they want.

iPRF Microneedling FAQs

Is iPRF microneedling better than standard microneedling?

For most skin concerns, yes. The addition of growth factors from iPRF significantly amplifies the collagen induction response. Clients who have had both treatments typically report better results from the iPRF version, particularly for scarring and skin quality.

How many sessions do I need?

Most clients start with a course of three to four sessions. Acne scarring or significant skin damage may benefit from five or six. We assess this at your consultation.

What is the recovery like?

You will be red and sensitive for 24 to 48 hours. Most clients feel comfortable going about their day after 24 hours. We advise avoiding sun exposure, retinoids, acids, and strenuous exercise for 48 hours after each session.

Who is not suitable for iPRF microneedling?

Active acne, certain blood conditions, blood-thinning medication, and pregnancy may make this treatment unsuitable. We complete a full health assessment at your consultation before any treatment is planned.
