What Is Endolift?

Endolift is a laser skin tightening treatment that works from inside the tissue rather than on the skin’s surface. A very fine optical fibre is inserted through a tiny entry point, and controlled laser energy is delivered directly into the subcutaneous layer. This causes an immediate tightening effect and triggers a longer-term collagen response that continues to improve your results over the following weeks.

You may also come across the names endolaser and endoskin. These terms are often used interchangeably to describe the same technology. Different devices and clinics use different names, but whether you’ve been searching for endolift, endolaser, or endoskin, the treatment is the same: a minimally invasive, laser-based approach to skin tightening that delivers real results without surgery.

At SIX1 Aesthetics, we offer Endolift at our clinics in Bracknell and Alderley Edge. It’s particularly popular for the lower face, jowls, neck, and under the chin, though it can also be used on the cheeks, brow area, and certain body zones.

How Does Endolift Work?

During the treatment, a local anaesthetic cream is applied to numb the area. A very fine cannula is then used to introduce a tiny optical fibre just beneath the skin. The laser energy delivered through this fibre does two things at once: it melts localised fat where present, and causes the surrounding collagen fibres to contract and tighten immediately.

Over the following three to six months, the body produces new collagen in response to the laser energy. This is what gives Endolift its longevity. The initial tightening you see on the day continues to improve as new collagen builds, with full results typically visible at around three months.

The session takes between 45 and 90 minutes depending on the area being treated. Most clients return to normal activities within a few days, with swelling and tenderness usually settling within a week.

Endolift vs Other Skin Tightening Treatments

Endolift sits in a different category to surface-based skin tightening treatments like HIFU or radiofrequency. Because the energy is delivered directly beneath the skin, the results are more precise and consistent, particularly in areas like the jowls and under the chin where surface-based treatments can be less effective.

It also works differently from injectables. Treatments like Sculptra or dermal fillers add volume and lift by introducing product into the tissue. Endolift works by stimulating your own tissue response. Many clients choose to combine both approaches for a more complete result.

Why Choose Endolift?

Endolift is one of the most effective non-surgical options available for people who want real, lasting change without the risks, scars, or recovery time that come with surgery. Here’s why our clients choose it.

Who Is Endolift Suitable For?

Endolift works best for clients with mild to moderate skin laxity who want visible improvement without surgery. It’s a popular choice for people in their 30s, 40s, and 50s who are noticing changes in skin firmness, particularly around the lower face, jowls, and neck.

It also suits clients who already have aesthetic treatments and want to complement their results. Endolift works particularly well alongside Sculptra for collagen stimulation, or in combination with skin boosters to improve overall skin quality and texture.

A consultation with our practitioner is always the best first step. We’ll give you an honest assessment of whether Endolift is the right treatment for your goals, or whether a different approach would serve you better.

Endolift FAQs

What is the difference between Endolift, Endolaser, and Endoskin?

Endolift, Endolaser, and Endoskin all refer to the same core technology: a minimally invasive laser treatment delivered beneath the skin via a very fine optical fibre. The term used varies between clinics and device manufacturers, but the approach and results are the same.

How long does Endolift last?

Results from Endolift typically last between one and three years, depending on the area treated and individual factors such as skin condition, age, and lifestyle. Most clients see peak results at around three months as collagen production continues to build.

Does Endolift hurt?

A local anaesthetic cream is applied before treatment, so most clients feel only mild warmth or pressure during the procedure. Any discomfort is usually minimal. Tenderness in the treated area can last for a few days afterwards.

What is the downtime after Endolift?

Most clients experience 1-3 days of swelling and tenderness, with occasional mild bruising. This typically settles within a week. Most people are comfortable returning to their normal routine within a few days.

How many Endolift sessions do I need?

Most clients achieve their desired results in a single session. Depending on the area and the degree of laxity, a second session may occasionally be recommended. Your practitioner will discuss this during your consultation.

What areas can Endolift treat?

Endolift is most commonly used on the lower face, jowls, under the chin, and neck. It can also be used on the cheeks, brow area, and certain body zones such as the inner arms.

How quickly will I see Endolift results?

Some tightening is visible immediately after treatment. Results continue to improve over three to six months as new collagen forms, with full results typically visible at around the three-month mark.

Is Endolift the same as a surgical face lift?

No. Endolift is a minimally invasive treatment. It does not involve surgical incisions, removal of skin tissue, or general anaesthesia. The results are more subtle than a surgical face lift but achieved with significantly less risk, no scarring, and much shorter recovery time.

Can I combine Endolift with other treatments?

Yes. Endolift combines well with Sculptra, skin boosters, and anti-wrinkle treatments. Many clients use it as part of a broader treatment plan. A consultation will help determine the best combination for your goals.
